EnterpriseSCHEDULE
SCHEDULE allows you to select which jobs are to be run, specify their start times and to schedule them at regular intervals, define a specific day of
the week or month to initiate the job. You can also create schedule calendars that recognize national holidays and weekends when jobs are not to run, as well as fiscal
calendars.
The flexibility of SCHEDULE is ideal for customizing jobs to a company's specific requirements and for multi-national companies with distributed
processing who need to allow for varying national holidays. You can also instruct SCHEDULE not to run jobs until a minimum amount of disk space is available or until
required files are available ensuring fast and reliable processing.

EnterpriseBACKUP
MEDIA includes many features designed to simplify and automate all aspects of media management. Some of the most important highlights are listed below:
Easy to manage media pools...
- Pool management:
All media are classified into one of three pools: AVAILABLE - those that can be allocated by a user on request; RELEASED - those that have been returned to the system but not yet made available by the Media Librarian; ALLOCATED - those that are currently in use and assigned to a specific user.
- User allocations: Media can be easily allocated from the available pool, one at a time or in groups, via a simple command.
- Automatic migration:
Support software is provided for automatic recognition of expiration dates. Media can be automatically moved from the allocated pool to the released pool after expiration. After a holding period, they can be automatically moved into the available pool.

Does EnterpriseSCHEDULE allow a remote user to telnet to the scheduling server system and
use a command line interface?
Yes, EnterpriseSCHEDULE has a command line interface on all platforms that allow a user to telnet into the system
and issue commands in a Shell mode. This is a complete client that allows a power set of command requests including wildcard and reporting requests. In fact if the IP is
know or the DSN can resolve the node request, a remote command Shell mode can be performed by a user with complete security and skipping the telnet session (great from
Windows machines). In addition, the command Shell understands Windows style requests, UNIX style requests, and OpenVMS style requests. More...
