Does SCHEDULE use an "off the shelf" database like Oracle or Sybase?

SCHEDULE includes it's own database which incorporates directory conventions identical to it's native operating system (OpenVMS or Tru64 UNIX). All jobs, calendars, MOTIF layouts etc. are incorporated into the database and can be accessed or modified using commands similar to those found in everyday operations.
